| Throughout the creation of contemporary documentary,the national themes,natural geography and human history have dominated the mainstream of documentaries.With the innovation of the film and television technology and the rapid development of the Internet,the popular rural film projection has been withdrawn from the historical stage.Facing the declining situation of rural film projection,Liu Lansheng still insists on the first line.Therefore,the author chooses Liu Lansheng,a rural film projectionist,as the character prototype for the character documentary creation.In this article,the author analyses the shaping of image strategy from three aspects: subject,author,audience,and combining The Social Dramatic Theory of the self-behave performance,the front desk and the background behavior;the creator’s emotion,scene,art control consciousness;Gunbridge’s theory of ‘schema-correction’,‘making and matching’ of the audience’s visual arts and psychological perception model theory.In character documentary,character is the soul.Character documentary ‘Liu Lansheng’ records the story of a rural projectionist,and mainly tells us the story of the film in the countryside,his persistence and stubbornness on film screening in the countryside,as well as the problems of the future road.Liu Lansheng as the subject of the documentary,the camera stimulates his self-consciousness and self-positioning,giving him an opportunity to present himself and attract others.In this process,the performance of the subject constitutes the ‘foreground’ behavior of the character image.The behavior of ‘front desk’ in character documentary is one of the real manifestations of the subject’s character of ‘back stage’.It is also a subconscious cognition of self,and has profound character expression.In the creation of character documentary,the creator cannot stay out of the camera.His control consciousness plays an important role in the creation of character image.In the process of creation of the Liu Lansheng,the author gives full play to the control of consciousness.And through the emotion to transfer humanistic care,the spot to capture Liu’s detail pictures.Pay attention to the film and television language in the late stage,the emotional expression in the long lens,the conflict of a typical event and the first-person commentary are all conducive to exploring the inner heart of Liu Lansheng and shaping his deeper character image.It is easy to ignore the audiences in the image shaping of character documentary.The essence of watching movies is the audience’s psychological changing process.In the ‘making’ intentions of the subject and creator,the audience gradually moved from Liu Lansheng’s ‘schema’ impression to "matching" impression.According to the interaction of ‘schema and correction’ and ‘making and matching’ theory,the final image of Liu is ‘corrected’.Therefore,the audiences participate in the construction of Liu Lansheng’s character image and completed the process from psychological presentation to character decoration. |
