| This article thinks that Nietzsche’s will to power and Plato’s Eros have the relationship of inheritance and development, and that Nietzsche tried to overcome the modern nihilism by launching a trial with Plato. In this regard, this article discusses through the following steps: First,to prove that will to power and Eros have a family similarity with passionate life as the core connotation, the two are comparable;the second is to explain how Plato transfer the Greek eros up to a totally philosophical concept by de-naturalization.Third,Nietzsche has reintroduced the naturalization for eros and transformed it into will to power. The fourth is to evaluate the work of Nietzsche. In this process, this article concludes that Nietzsche opposes Platoism in a Platonistic way and that Platoism is reversed in terms of form.In terms of content,it is more likely to have the Greek spirit of the former Socrates. This philosophy is likely to led to a deeper nihilism, but the Nietzsche’s elucidation of will to power can open a wide field of vision for the study of modernity. |
