Research Ethics Of Experimental Study In Master Degree Theses Of Subject Teaching Orientation

Research ethics are the significant criterion when conducting research in the social sciences.Research ethics should be regulated into the research,in which achievements in scientific research can benefit the society.However,looking through books in the fields of foreign language teaching and research at home and abroad,the author finds it’s rare to see studies concerning ethnic research.Therefore,the research concentrates on research ethics on experimental study in master’ degree theses of subject teaching orientation,with the hope that it provides insights into future teaching of postgraduates and code for scientific research.This study is based on master’ degree theses of subject teaching English orientation in foreign languages department of Guangxi Normal University in the recent three years as research subjects.With the help of text analysis and interview,the author probes into the research ethics in master’ degree theses of experimental study.The present research aims to explore the following three questions:(1)What is the general information of research ethics interruption like in the experimental study of the master degree theses?(2)What is the manifestation of ethics interruption?(3)What is the cause of the problems?Results indicate that experimental study accounts for 16.6% among master degree theses of subject teaching English orientation and all have in ethics interruption;specifically speaking,there are five aspects of the ethical problems: informed consent,privacy protection,equality and fairness,fair retribution,hams and benefits;the reasons that lead to the problems include cultural factors,subjective of researchers and subjects and objective factors.At last,according to the findings,some practical suggestions for improving postgraduates’ awareness of ethics and teaching in the future are offered from the perspective of subjectivity and objectivity.
