This paper is focused on zhang Lu and his films.Zhang,who is a third-generation Korean immigrant and a Chinses Korean live in Korean.His multiple identities contributed to his films.In the process of continuously across the border,he tried to reappear the edges of the diaspora group experience,and explore the philosophical proposition about life,love,and ultimately created his own movie style.He has completed the Eleven(short film),Tang Poetry,Grain in Ear,Desert Dream,Chongqing,Iri,Dooman River,Scenery(documentary),Gyeongju,Love and...,A Quiet Dream and so on,Because most of the film by the Korean side of investment production,the major film festivals,in South Korea and European countries reputation.As a framework of theoretical researching,the first chapter of this paper sketched out the concept and the curent conditions of the diaspora movie,as a embranchment of diaspora studies,diaspora film gradually became a top topic in recent years.The second chapter is the creating process and awards of zhang’s films,whose works have won many international awards,but are seldom known in China.On the one hand,his films are mostly made internationally,not play in China.On the other hand,the narrative of minorities and marginalized people is not acceptable to the public.The third chapter mainly analyzes the diaspora groups in the film text: Korean nationality,defectors and foreign workers.The diaspora is the subject of zhang’s films,and zhang tries to find the nature of life from them.In the fourth chapter,the theme of zhang’s films is mainly discussed,and zhang’s philosophy and ethics are reflected in the film.The fifth chapter discusses the cultural and position identity acceptance problem of Zhang Lu himself,both his body and his image have dual culture,Korean culture and Chinese culture Zhang Lu identity acceptance is a important part of reaching the director Zhang Lu.Sixth chapter mainly discussed the aesthetic construct of Zhang Lu’s films image about dream and reality,space and time.by the angle of the lens and audio-visual language.Zhang Lu realize the diaspora in reality world by dream,constantly exploring the possibilities of images is also Zhang Lu’s long term pursuit of art.In the age globalization,the consumer culture invades massively,the cultural expression symbolized,and the actual meaning has been diminished.Under such circumstances,Zhang Lu’s diaspora film offers a different perspective arouse people to rethink the concept of diaspora,and what it means to human beings with nostalgia,homesickness,and so on.
