Qun Shu Zhi Yao,a total of 50 volumes, was compiled by Wei Zheng and other compilers on the fifth year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty(631 AD).However, because of war disaster and political chaos at the end of the Tang dynasty, the book has basically been scattered in the Song Dynasty.Fortunately, this book has already been introduced to Japan by the Japanese ambassador in Tang Dynasty. Many versions of the book have been circulated since then. The Kamakura copybook was published from the Japanese calendar year Heisei Gannen to the third year(1989-1991)by Ji Gu bookstore, and becomes the earliest version of the public, which is the Kanazawa library version studied.Qun Shu Zhi Yao quotes the relevant contents of the sixty-six ancient books before the Tang dynasty, including Shi Ji and Han Shu.This article selects Shi Ji and Han Shu cited in Kanazawa’s Qun Shu Zhi Yao(Volume 11 to Volume 20,a total of 10 volumes, but Volume 13 and Volume 20 are lost)as discussing material and object. This paper considers both the linguistics and philology. It expands research for the text varianten, which are discovered by comparing the Shi Ji and Han Shu cited in Kanazawa’s Qun Shu Zhi Yao with Zhonghua Book version.First of all,Kanazawa’s Qun Shu Zhi Yao preserves a large number of variant Chinese characters and misused characters, which comes from the Middle Ancient Times. These characters provide abundant materials for the synchronic identification of Chinese character configuration and provided references for the study of modern Chinese characters.Secondly, through comparison surveys,we found that there are a large number of interchangeable words, ancient and modern graphs, and synonymic characters used in the Kanazawa’s Qun Shu Zhi Yao.These characters also provide original materials for the study of the history of Chinese characters and vocabulary in the future. In the end,the Shi Ji and Han Shu cited in Kanazawa’s Qun Shu Zhi Yao can also provide reliable materials for the collation and emendation of the Zhonghua Book version and previous researches during these corresponding sages. The content of the article is divided into three chapters. The first chapter introduces the research object, content, meaning and method. The second chapter, from the perspective of the philology(the narrow sense of the different texts),explores the types of the two versions, including: variant Chinese characters, misused characters, interchangeable words, ancient and modern graphs, synonymic characters, etc;Chapter three, from the perspective of document collation, gives full play to the value of document collation of Shi Ji and Han Shu cited in Kanazawa’s Qun Shu Zhi Yao for Zhonghua Book version. At the same time,it also supplements and corrects the previous researches, and solves practical problems as much as possible.
