Public Archaeology Research

Since the 1970 s,public archeology has begun to rise in western Europe and the United States.Traced back to China’s public archaeology,although influenced by Western countries,is not entirely Westernized,has its own development context and origin system,and its own originality,particularity,pedigree characteristics,is to learn from some western theory to go to China The road to practice.Chinese archeology took the public road earlier.As early as the 1920 s,Mr.Li Ji had made some similar practices of public archeology,but the late development was slow.In the last decade,public archaeology in China triggered a new social upsurge and research boom.For the development and construction of archaeological disciplines,it is inevitable and necessary for the public to explore the publicity path from the point of view of seldom receiving attention from all sectors of the society and causing a strong social concern.Based on the Nihewan site group,this paper tries to apply public archaeology to the protection and development of the Nihewan site group,systematically sums up a series of methods and approaches for archeology publicity,and summarizes the concept,content,and content of public archaeology.Communication methods and ways of participation have drawn public and cultural heritage and regional connections.According to its universality and particularity,it is proposed to be suitable for the protection and construction of the Nihewan site group,but also to provide ideas for the establishment of public research in various sites in China,and to explore publicized roads.Chinese public archeology does some useful thinking and exploration.
