Embedding emotional aims are one of the highlights of the new curriculum reform.Emotion plays a role in encouraging,motivating,influencing and empathizing with learners and their learning.Students tend to be more interested in their English learning and then achieve optimal learning results by positive emotional stimulation,which plays a crucial part to help the learners to be more actively involved in class and then enhance the learners? ability to use English.However,the longtime knowledge-based language teaching deviates from emotional education.And it also renders quite a number of students to lose interests in English learning,which becomes an agonizing and painful experience.Based on the new curriculum standard,the writer applies humanistic theory and Krashen?s Affective Filter Hypothesis to emotional education,which is considered to be one of the most effective ways to solve the current problem.There are four parts in this research.First,the core concept of emotional education of primary school English teaching is organized and concluded through library research.The emotional theory should be clarified,too.Second,experimental class and control class are picked to complete a questionnaire,which exposes the emotional status of these two classes according to the results.Third,the specific strategy should be formed by the students? emotional status and the affective theory.Last,the empirical study will be carried out in experimental class,and after one year,the students should do the post-questionnaire and take an English exam for a contrastive analysis.Some of them will be interviewed,too.Whether the emotional education is effective or not will be explained by these data.The questionnaire includes students? learning interest,motivation,confidence,team spirit,cross-cultural communication,interpersonal communication and teaching atmosphere.The results will be analyzed and the specific teaching strategy are related to teachers,students and textbooks.The main findings include:1.Teachers should pay more attention to teaching competency and skills.Emotional teaching and evaluating should be noticed.2.There are two factors to cultivate students? emotional literacy.One is the internal cause: students should learn positive attribute style and increase self-efficacy,The other is the external factor: students ought to build a healthy and harmonious interpersonal relationships with people around them.3.Textbooks are crucial to emotional education.Teachers should try their best to study the textbooks and find the affective factors.Then they can impart knowledge and educate students according to the learning condition.
