Star research is an important social dimension of film research.Sociologist Francesco Aberoni believes that stars are a group of "powerless celebrities".Although they do not actually control social power,He(she)can become the object of public ecstasy. This statement by Francesco directly shows the wide-ranging social influence of the stars. In modern China,Shanghai,as one of the earliest cities to open up,gave birth to the earliest movie star group in China.Among them, many actresses emerged as the first professional actress in the history of Chinese film. These movie actresses did not form a wide-ranging social influence in the 1920s.However,after the previous publicity and performance practice,a social female group with broad influence was formed in the 1930s,as Fraccesco said. This female group is "the object of public fanaticism" and has great social influence.Among them, the influence of the female group in Shanghai is the most direct and obvious.Based on this premise, this article will explain the influence of the Republican actress on Shanghai women from the following four aspects. The first is the aesthetic influence of Shanghai actresses on Shanghai women. The most direct reflection of the aesthetic impact is dressing,so this article focuses on the trend of the actress wearing the movie, the actress's wearing habits in life to write the fashion aesthetic of Shanghai actress. In terms of influence, two very representative film segments are selected to show the fashion influence of actresses.Of course, there are some examples of newspapers and magazines that use the star as the gimmick or the female star image to promote.Second is the impact of movie actresses on the pursuit of economic independence by women in Shanghai. This chapter mainly shows the economic independence of the movie actress by the income of the actor. The influence is also mainly explained by the cognitive changes and job-seeking intentions of the Shanghai women's career in the movie. It is the successful practice of the movie actress that makes more women willing to get involved in the film industry and achieve a state of economic independence. Then there is the influence of the movie actress on promoting the concept of progress. This chapter focuses on the influence of the actress's role in the education and the personal pursuit of the movie actress to write about the influence of Shanghai women. In the argumentation, the form of the film and the image propaganda of the film and magazine are more intuitive and popular than other forms of writing when promoting the concept of progress. Finally, the influence of the patriotic thoughts and concrete practices of the movie actress on Shanghai women. This chapter is mainly in the time after the 1930s.It shows the patriotic thoughts and practices of some movie actresses after the Anti-Japanese War through some specific examples, including the role of the stars starring in the act of propagating patriotism. The impact is mainly based on the actual impact of the movie actress Li Xiaqing(art name Li Dandan)on the practice of aviation to save the country. This article draws on the data collection and the overall reflection of the article on the impact of the movie actress on Shanghai women's liberation.Based on the wide influence of movie stars, modern Shanghai women are affected more or less in many aspects, but the modern movie star system is still in the beginning, and the self-liberation of female star groups is also uneven,so no matter the scope of influence or the depth of influence has not yet reached its peak. The innovation of this paper is to introduce the film text into the research. In the past, the scholars added less content to the film itself in the related research of the star,so the author tried this. The shortcoming of this paper is that on the one hand, the research on the influence of modern stars in the academic world is very lacking, and there is not much discussion on it.On the other hand, the reports on the influence of movie stars in modern newspapers and magazines are also very scarce. The film text is also very scarce,so there are great difficulties in data collection.
