Micro-blog,since launched in 2009,has 10 years of history, showing a spurt of development on the economic, political and cultural aspects of society, have caused noticeable impact.Especially in recent years, almost all the hot news events can find the image of micro-blog.Many netizens use it as a communication medium to construct a unique virtual community. It also provides a deep soil for the emergence and widespread dissemination of various network languages. This paper is based on this point of departure, and based on the previous research results, taking micro-blog as the object of study,to conduct a comprehensive study of the emerging modal particle mie. This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is an introduction. It mainly discusses the reasons for choosing the topic, the object of study, the current research situation, the research value, the research methods and the sources of the corpus.Chapter two is the syntactic distribution of the new modal particle mie, which can appear at the end of yes-no questions, special questions, declarative sentences and exclamatory sentences, but cannot appear at the end of imperative sentences and sentences. The chapter three is the mood meaning of the new modal particle mie, which can be divided into two categories:the interrogative modal particle mie and the non-interrogative modal particle mie.The tone meaning of mie is to ease, and the tone meaning of mie is to emphasize. But no matter what kind of sentence pattern,it has a lovely and charming tone.In view of the high-frequency use of hao mie,we classify hao mie into hao mie1 which seeks permission and hao mie2 which has been grammaticalized as topic markers and has the mood of drawing attention according to the corpus.Chapter four is a comparison with the modal particle mie in dialect. It is found that the mie at the end of specific questions, statements and exclamations should come into being after entering the network, but not at the end of questions and its modal meaning may come from dialect.Chapter Five elaborates the pragmatic function of mie and its formation motivation. The former is mainly discussed from three aspects:alleviating the threat to face, marking indirect speech acts and highlighting focus information;the latter is divided into external factors, namely:the rapid development of the Internet, the influence of dialect, young people's personality;and the internal motivation of language, which are:influenced by openness, highlighting focus information.Follow the principle of language economy.Chapter six is the conclusion and shortcomings of the study.
