Prokofiev is one of the most important composers in the twentieth century. As he himself said, the musician’s duty is to serve the people, beautify and eulogize human life, and guide human beings towards a bright future. He has a thorough understanding of the surrounding life, grasps human feelings and personalities in many ways, and makes all kinds of images of his works artistic and emotional.Among his many works, nature as the theme, and music for children occupy an important position,"Seventh Symphony" is such a very important and special work. This work is his last symphony before his death. It was originally written for children’s listeners, but it has made a turning point in his creation and become his lyric confession of "Swan Song".This paper takes Symphony No.7 as the research object, takes music history as the basic research method, combines with works analysis and other ways, explores the music language characteristics of this work in depth, and excavates the potential philosophical and educational significance of the work. There are three chapters in this paper. The first chapter puts Symphony No.7 in the overall background of Russian music development in the twentieth century, and interprets his creative motives and intentions. It mainly includes three aspects:Russian political background in the era,Prokofiev’s creative practice in his life, and the beginning and end of Symphony No.7.The second chapter is the core chapter of this article, that is,to enter the analysis and discussion of the musical text of Symphony No.7,to conduct a comprehensive analysis of its form and content, from the construction of the theme of music, the deformation of the theme(the means of development of music)and the design of the overall structure of the analysis, and finally to summarize the overall creative characteristics of the work.In addition,multi-level compilation also reflects Prokofiev’s respect for traditional music techniques, but also attaches importance to the development trend of contemporary art.The third chapter is based on the second chapter. It further explains the artistic features and humanistic implications of Symphony No.7,and leads to the author’s own understanding of life, his reflection on the return of human nature, and his lifelong pursuit of self-worth.This also reflects the development trend of culture in the twentieth century.
