Ancient towns are an important part of China's cultural heritage,which reflects the evolution process of different regions and nationalities in different historical periods,and reflects the unique,inclusive and diverse characteristics of Chinese traditional culture.After the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of China's economy and the acceleration of urbanization process,the protection of some ancient towns,especially the protection of cultural heritage in ancient towns,has been greatly impacted,and the original features of some ancient towns have been damaged to varying degrees.In recent years,with the continuous warming of the protection of world cultural heritage,the protection of historic and cultural towns in China has been included in the important agenda of people's governments at all levels.The protection and utilization of ancient towns has also been paid great attention by domestic academia.The study of ancient towns has become an important research field of relevant scholars.It has become an important topic in the field of cultural heritage protection and research to systematically study ancient towns,formulate scientific protection programs,give full play to the role of business cards of ancient towns'cultural heritage and constantly improve people's lives.Zhengyangguan ancient town that located in the central part of Anhui Province is a famous historical and cultural town in Anhui Province.Its history can be traced back to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty as early as 2500 years ago.In the first year of Chenghua Ming Dynasty(1465),the government of Ming Dynasty set up a money collection barrier here.Since then,Zhengyangguan town has been a transportation hub and a major commercial town in the Huaihe River Basin.The ancient town of Zhengyangguan still has rich cultural heritage,but for a long time,the academic circles have made little systematic research on the ancient town of Zhengyangguan,and there are many problems in the protection of the cultural heritage of the ancient town.This paper takes Zhengyangguan ancient town as the research object,through the investigation of its history,important cultural heritage and the problems existing in its protection,puts forward relevant protection and utilization countermeasures,hoping to provide useful reference for the local government and relevant departments to do a good job in the protection of Zhengyangguan ancient town.The main contents of this paper include the following chapters:The introduction part mainly introduces the research background,research significance,research status and research methods of this paper.The first chapter mainly introduces the general situation of Zhengyangguan ancient town.Through a brief analysis of the historical evolution and status,celebrities,causes of decline and current development of Zhengyangguan ancient town,this paper clarifies the historical context of its development.The history of Zhengyangguan ancient town can be traced back to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.It has been famous for its commercial prosperity since ancient times.From the first year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty until the founding of the People's Republic,it gradually became a transportation hub and a major commercial town in the Huaihe River Basin,With the natural advantages of Huaihe River waterway transportation,Zhengyangguan was known as the"capital town of Fengcheng"for a time.However,with the change of traffic mode and the rapid rise of Bengbu,the destruction of war and natural disasters,the construction of water conservancy projects in the upper reaches of the Huaihe River and its tributaries,Zhengyangguan ancient town gradually declined.In recent years,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council have attached great importance to the protection of cultural heritage and issued a series of important guidelines and policies,which will play an important guiding role in the protection and utilization of Zhengyangguan,a famous historical and cultural town in Anhui Province.The second chapter introduces the important cultural heritage and its characteristics of Zhengyangguan ancient town.Through on-the-spot investigation of more than ten well-preserved material and intangible cultural her:itages in Zhengyangguan ancient town,the present situation of Zhengyangguan ancient town cultural heritage is comprehensively understood.It is concluded that the cultural heritage of Zhengyangguan ancient town has many characteristics,such as many kinds,widespread distribution,strong commercial atmosphere,large number of religious heritage,rich red revolutionary heritage and so on.The third chapter mainly expounds the existing problems and Suggestions of zhengyangguan ancient town's cultural heritage protection.Through on-the-spot investigation,it is found that there are the following problems in the protection of cultural heritage in Zhengyang Guangu ancient town.Firstly,the contradiction between the renovation of old houses and the protection of ancient towns is becoming more and more prominent.The second,the lack of funds for the protection of cultural relics and the lack of technical personnel for the protection of cultural relics.Thirdly,the awareness of the local government and residents for the protection of cultural relics needs to be strengthened.The fourth,the lack of infrastructure support.Fifth,the protection of intangible cultural heritage is weak.These five problems are urgent problems to be solved in the protection of Zhengyangguan ancient town.In view of the above problems,the following protection suggestions are put forward.The first,to scientifically delimit protected areas and strengthen the protection of ancient towns.Secondly,to broaden the channels for raising funds for protection,improve the mechanism of social participation and cultivate professional talents.Third,to enhance the enthusiasm of local governments and the people in the protection of cultural relics.Fourth,to strengthen infrastructure construction and do a good job in environmental governance of towns.Fifth,to strengthen the intangible cultural relics.Sixth,we should learn from the successful experience of Wuzhen,Xitang and other places and vigorously promote the rational use of cultural heritage.The last part is.the conclusion,which summarizes the whole paper.It is hoped that Zhengyangguan old town will be better protected and play a greater role with the joint efforts of all sectors of society.
