| Under the rapid development of cultural facilities and experience economy, various exhibition activities are emerging. It provides an important venue for people to enjoy knowledge, education and culture. At present, there are many kinds of various exhibition activities in China, but they often end up falling flat, and they do not focus on an improvement in the current situation of society.Although many pavilions have seen that the exhibition has been arranged attentively, some negative comments are often been heard, and the display effect is not satisfactory as well. This not only fails to achieve the expected effect of the exhibition itself, but also is not conducive to giving full play to the role of information dissemination and display communication in the exhibition space. This paper takes the development process of the exhibition as the starting point, demonstrates the inevitability of experiential exhibition design from the reason why we should keep pace with the times and why we should change the way we used to plan for the exhibition activities, and carry out the concept and method types of experiential exhibition design.By reading the literature, questionnaires, case studies and other methods, comparing traditional display methods and experiential display methods and drawing conclusions that the experiential display method can bring visitors both psychological and physiological feelings, satisfying people’s different needs in physiology and psychology aspects. At the same time, the combination of information and audiovisual and the interaction between people and information makes the depth of memory and the comprehensiveness of feelings in the brain far beyond the traditional display method, that is,visitors prefer the experiential display method. Therefore, the different methods of experiential exhibition design are classified into multi-sensory experience design and full-experience exhibition design respectively, and the multi-sensory experience design with visual, auditory, olfactory, tactile and taste as the main stimulating targets is elaborated. And finally, the theory is combined with practice to design an experiential pavilion using experiential exhibition design techniques. The old time has passed,As the ages developing and the advancement of technology has made people’s emotional needs increase rapidly and deeply.Nowadays,a new exhibition space should pay attention to the sensibility and acceptance of the information transmitted by the visitors. It should focus on the felt experience of the whole space whereas getting new inspiration and fresh ideas through the feedback of the visitors. This requires us to use the experiential exhibition design method to plan the exhibition, taking the audience’s feelings as the starting point, and treating problems from the perspective of the visitors,so that visitors can fully experience the atmosphere of the exhibition, and enjoy the exhibition with pleasure and initiative and pick up the message we want to convey. The experiential pavilion designed and implemented in this subject is the experiential display space based on five sensory organs as the main stimulating target combined with a fully experiential display technique.Through the comprehensive application of these display techniques, the sensory feelings of the visitors can be fully mobilized, thereby stimulating the feelings of the physiology and emotions, and various information expression forms can be completed by using the sensory experience cognition and the stimulation of the sensory system.Different psychological needs of people can be fully considered and satisfied, and the feelings obtained can be fed back in real time through experience behavior.Through the research and study of advanced scientific and technological concepts and display methods at home and abroad,as well as the research on related literatures, this thesis constructs an application system of experiential exhibition design techniques in display space, providing a certain form for enriching experiential exhibition design and offer some theoretical help to enrich the experiential exhibition design form. |
