With the development and progress of the times,exchanges and cooperation between China and the rest of the world are deepening day by day.The importance of English also appears with the victory of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party and the production of high-end words like "Internet +" and "One Belt And One Road".As the key period of students' physical and mental development,the education stage of nine-year compulsory education is crucial for their future development.However,as English learners in remote areas who are obliged to do education,daily English language learning is still in a state of mechanical training,lack of context and lack of initiative awareness.In view of these problems,it is particularly important to teach students to use appropriate language learning strategies and to improve their interest and initiative in English learning.This article aims to analyze the current situation of junior middle school students on English listening strategy consciousness in remote areas,under the guidance of Constructivism and the Schema Theory,using the relevant theories of language learning strategies,to formulate appropriate listening learning strategies and strategy training to the student and comparative analysis to the result,and prove that listening learning strategies affect rural junior high school students listening ability.The author conducts research from three aspects:(1)What are the existing problems in the use of English listening learning strategies for Junior Middle School students in remote areas?(2)How to make strategy training plans and implement them according to the existing problems of students' listening learning strategies?(3)Is the listening learning strategy formulated and implemented effective in the implementation of teaching? Is there any difference between the high score and the low score? By sorting out relevant domestic and foreign literatures on the study of listening learning strategies and seeking for the listening learning strategies suitable for junior middle school students in remote areas,the author takes Class 5 and Class 9 of Xuefu Road Middle School in Hailar district,Hulun Buir,Inner Mongolia autonomous region as the reference variable and observe whether listening strategies can effectively improve learners' English listening ability.In the experiment,the author took Class 5 with weak overall level as the teaching experimental class and Class 9 with the overall level as the control class.The author compares the listening performance of the experimental class and the control class before and after the experiment proves the effectiveness of the teaching of listening learning strategies.The author uses three methods: questionnaire,pre-hearing test and random interview.It is proved that the teaching of listening learning strategies under the guidance of Constructivism and the Schema Theory can improve the English listening ability and performance of junior middle school students in remote areas.In future English teaching,teachers will teach students to use corresponding learning strategies while teaching them knowledge.Paying attention to the double development of students' knowledge and skills can truly improve their ability to use English.
