Lin Zexu Complete Works refers to Lin Zexu Complete Works(2002),edited by Lin Zexu’s Collective Editorial Committee and published by Straits Literature and Art Publishing House.The book consists of six volumes,including memorials,transcripts,poems,letters,diaries,and translations.This is the most comprehensive and meticulous research result concerning Lin Zexu’s works in the sorting and publishing.The first four volumes are the memorial scrolls,the fifth and sixth volumes are the volumes and poetry volumes,the seventh and eighth volumes are the letters,the ninth volume is the diary volume,and the tenth volume is the translation volume.The Four Continents are included in the book.There are six translations of Macau Newsprint,Macau Monthly,Hua Yi Yi Lu Yao,Zha Dao International Laws and Miscellaneous Foreign Affairs.The new words,new meanings,and common words appearing in high frequencies in each book reflect the changes in Lin Zexu’s thinking and life in all aspects.On the one hand,it enriches the vocabulary system.This article takes this six volumes and ten volumes of books as the research object,using the methods of row-by-duct induction,view of the environment as the method of training,different meanings in the text,comparison of the categories,the dialect of the reference,and the method of seeking meaning through sound.While giving full play to the linguistic and linguistic value of Lin Zexu’s work,he can also add words,amendments,and supplements to large-scale dictionaries and dictionaries in due course.The article is divided into three parts: The introduction part mainly discusses the source of the topic,the research status,the content of the study,the research ideas and the significance of this article.The first,second and third chapters of the paper are the main parts.The first chapter,based on the first-seeing times of the entries or meanings included in the Chinese Dictionary,makes an exhaustive analysis of the new words and new meanings in the Complete Works of Lin Zexu.The second chapter illustrates common words that are different from new words and new meanings.The third chapter takes Chinese Dictionary as the mainreference,and discusses the meaning and effect of the study of words in Lin Zexu Complete Works on the compilation of language dictionaries around correcting interpretation,supplementing documentary evidence,postponing the latest documentary evidence.The conclusion part summarizes the content of the previous study,and points out the deficiencies and omissions of this study and the directions that can be further explored in the future.
