A Comparative Study Of Mainland Criminal Investigation Dramas And Hong Kong Criminal Investigation Dramas

Since the advent of the reform and opening up in the 1980 s,the influence of foreign culture on the mainland public has been gradually revealed,especially Hong Kong,which is different from the lifestyle of the mainland audience,but has similar cultural origins,and shows great vitality.Therefore,Hong Kong TVB TV series have become a window for the mainland audience to understand their compatriots.After entering the 1990 s,in many outstanding TVB TV series,the crime investigation drama is like a shining star rushing into the mainland audience’s vision,occupied the mainland audience’s screen.Criminal investigation drama is a special type of drama,which creates a suspense story,characters with wisdom and courage,as well as cunning and insidious criminals,etc.,to fully meet the needs of the audience’s curiosity and heroism.Over the past decades,the influence of Hong Kong criminal investigation dramas on the development of mainland TV dramas cannot be ignored,and even directly changed the creation mode of simple police and gangster dramas in the past.Mainland criminal investigation dramas emerged under the mutual promotion of the development of Hong Kong criminal investigation dramas and TV industry.At present,the academic circle has not given a clear definition and perfect theoretical system for the criminal investigation drama,but the booming development of criminal investigation drama also promotes scholars to carry out exploratory research.At present,most academic literatures mainly focus on the discussion of Hong Kong criminal investigation dramas and mainland criminal investigation dramas respectively,but few literatures combine the two to study their differences and advantages.This paper takes the comparative study of Hong Kong criminal investigation drama and mainland criminal investigation drama as the research center,which is divided into five parts for discussion.Firstly,the development process and context of criminal investigation dramas in mainland China and Hong Kong are sorted out.Then,on this basis,the differences in creation themes,character Settings,narrative features in mainland China and Hong Kong are studied.Finally,after summarizing the above research contents,the enlightenment of Hong Kong criminal investigation dramas on mainland criminal investigation dramas is found out.Forensic drama based on the mainland and Hong Kong forensic drama as the research object,through to the system of theoretical study,summed up the Hong Kong police drama inspired and influenced the mainland forensic drama,promote the creation of both advantages,summing up the experience of the both,artistic effect and effect from each other,to provide new ideasand new theories system,so that in the future to create more high-quality forensic drama,promote the sustained and rapid development of forensic drama.
