Canal Ballad tells a touching story that took place during the Wanli Period of the Ming Dynasty.The lively,enthusiastic and helpful heroine Shui Honglian left a deep impression on the audience.In Canal Ballad,the plot development promoted by the main line of Water Red Lotus requires the singer not only to loose articulation,certain singing skills and high breath control,but also to fully understand the heroine's character image.This article mainly analyzes the solo excerpt " Qin Sheng,are you all right?" This excerpt expresses that Shui Honglian misses Qin Sheng but has to let him guard the blind girl Guan Yanyan's side.This complex emotion full of missing is very difficult to express.After watching the wonderful performances of three famous sopranos,Lei Jia,Wang Lida and Wang Zhe,they deeply analyzed their different interpretations of the characters of Shui Honglian,giving full experience and performance to the accurate positioning of the characters,the emotional changes of the characters and finally the righteously as a little girl.This article mainly analyzes the three singers' performance of " Qin Sheng,are you all right" selected from " Canal Ballad" by Shui Honglian.The differences in singing styles and the comparison of different versions of the performance of the characters.
