The minor generally refers to the short and concise singing art with wide folk circulation and regular form,which is the treasure of our national traditional culture.Ding county is located in the central part of hebei province,with a long history and culture,outstanding people and simple folk customs.It is also an influential county on the north China plain.According to historical records,at the end of 1946,the musician zhang lu,together with the college of arts and art of north China united university,came to the villages and towns(such as jia village and gaopeng)in the area of ding county to collect folk songs,and recorded a number of beautiful minor.Later,these minors was included in the hebei folk songs selected.On this basis,the author further studies and analyzes these minors,and interprets its artistic value.These minors carrying the local traditional life folk custom culture,is a mirror we understand the ding county’s people.Moreover,the study of the artistic characteristics,style and evolution of ding county’s minor,a "small watershed",is helpful to understand the artistic characteristics and rules of minor in central hebei and the whole hebei region.Zhang lu is a modern composer in China.He works hard all his life and creates a lot of works.He especially loves folk music.He has rich experience in art and is deeply connected with Chinese folk songs.Taking "selected folk songs of hebei" as an example,the activity and harvest of collecting ding county’s minor is an important practice and experience of Mr.Zhang lu’s folk song art career and a certain "quantitative accumulation" of his "epistemology" of folk songs.Therefore,sorting out and studying zhang lu’s experience of collecting folk songs in ding county can also enrich our understanding of musician zhang lu.Moreover,Mr.Zhang lu’s method of collecting folk songs is a fresh "learning case" for the author and for the construction of traditional Chinese music "field work method".
