The study attempts to explore the relationship between high school students' future time perspective,perceived stress and problem solving competency.There are 415 high school students from two schools in Heilongjiang Province were measured using the“Adolescent Future Time perspective”,“Perceived stress Scale” and “High School Students Problem Solving Competency”.The research results are as follows:(1)The high school students' future time perspective is generally at a medium level,mainly in the positive direction of the future negative and future.There are differences in grades,family locations,serving as classes,parents encouraging independent decision-making,grade and ability to be admitted to key universities.(2)High school students' stress perception is generally at a medium level,mainly characterized by tension.There are significant differences in whether to be a class,grade,parent's encouragement of self-determination,achievements,and whether or not to be admitted to a key university.(3)The problem solving competency of high school students is generally at a medium level,mainly manifested in the attitude of solving problems.There are significant differences in gender,family location,whether to work as a class,the highest level of parental education,parental encouragement of self-determination,grade,and ability to be admitted to a key university.(4)There is a significant negative correlation between future time perspective and problem solving competency and perceived stress;future time perspective and problem solving ability are significantly positively correlated.(5)Future time perspective and perceived stress have a predictive effect on problem solving competency.(6)Perceived stress plays a part in mediating between competency and problem solving competency in the future.
