English writing is one of the four basic skills of foreign language learning.It is a productive skill and a weak link for high school students.Most high school students have anxiety about English writing.In order to effectively reduce the English writing anxiety of high school students,improve their English writing ability.This study attempts to explore whether “writing metacognitive strategy training” contributes to the decline of “English writing anxiety” among high school students.There are many methods and means for students to writing anxiety.This study is based on metacognitive strategies and writing anxiety theory.Based on domestic and aboard,It is expected that the metacognitive writing strategy training will be integrated into the high school English writing classroom teaching.The training of English learning in metacognitive strategies can be reduce the English writing anxiety of high school students.The specific research questions are as follows:(1)What is the current situation of senior high school students’ English writing metacognitive strategy? And what is the current situation of their English writing anxiety?(2)Is there a correlation between students’ English writing metacognitive strategy use and their English writing anxiety?If yes,what is it?(3)Does the writing metacognitive strategy training promote students’ use of metacognitive strategy and thus alleviate their English writing anxiety?In order to answer the above questions,129 people from a middle school in Harbin were selected as the research object.The English writing anxiety scale and the English writing metacognitive strategy scale were used as tools to obtain pre-training high school students through descriptive analysis and pre-experimental interviews.Writing metacognitive strategies using values and values of English writing anxiety levels.Through the training of the 16-week writing metacognitive strategy,the changes of relevant data before and after training were obtained.Using SPSS(24.0)software to do independent sample and paired sample T test,combined with post-experimental interviews,to discover the impact of writing metacognitive strategies on English writing anxiety: the students in the English writing anxiety,and writing Metacognitive strategies have a negative correlation effect on English writing anxiety.Through the training of writing metacognitive strategies,students’ English writing anxiety can be alleviated.
