Northern Song Dynasty Court Sports Culture Research

Sports,as a phenomenon in human civilization,is a special form of cultural form produced by various nations in the process of historical and cultural development.As an important part of Chinese history and culture,the court sports culture of the northern song dynasty is unique in the development history of sports culture,no matter in the type of sports,the audience and the number of participants,or even in the far-reaching degree.The appearance of this pomp had much to do with the social environment of the northern song dynasty.This paper tries to explore the reasons for the rapid development of court sports in the northern song dynasty by sorting out and analyzing the literature,and analyzes the factors that influence the development of court sports in the northern song dynasty from three aspects,namely,politics,economy and cultural communication.At the same time,the research on the development achievements of the court sports culture in the northern song dynasty shows that the court sports in the northern song dynasty have made great innovations in the number of sports,the display of important occasions and the innovation and development of sports.These achievements,produced by the court sports of the northern song dynasty,have its unique nature and show different development characteristics from other dynasties.Many achievements and breakthroughs have produced far-reaching influence.Based on the research on the causes,achievements and development characteristics of the court sports in the northern song dynasty,this paper further discusses its influence and summarizes its realistic significance to today’s society.
