Practice Of Public Archaeology Research In Henan In The Past Ten Years (2008-2018)

The concept of Public Archaeology originated from the west,but Public Archaeology in China came into being gradually with the development of Chinese Archaeology,which was not a western exotic product.In the early 1930 s,archaeologists wrote about Archaeology science books.In the 1990 s,the concept of public archaeology was introduced into China,and various archaeological practices were warming up in China.Besides archaeologists,government,universities,the media and archaeological institutions are actively involved in public Archaeology,more and more public begin to care about the history of cultural relics and cultural heritage.Consistent with the overall development trend of domestic public archaeology,Henan ’s public archaeology is also gradually grow up along with the development of archaeology.In recent years,Archaeological development achieved fruits.Media reports and related effects of film and television works deepened the public’s interest in archaeology,archaeological workers paid more and more attention to the communication with the public,and organized various forms of public archaeological practice,.Based on the investigation of public archaeological practice in Henan province over the past decade,this paper briefly summarized its development characteristics and regularity,and explored the evaluation method of practical effects,so as to provide references for the efficient development of public archaeological practice.The text includes four chapters: public archaeological exhibition,public archaeological education,public archaeological media and public archaeological activities.The first part sorts the public archaeological display of Henan from the points of excavation site,archaeological achievements into the museum,the site of the museum and the site of the park.The second part mainly takes Zhengzhou University as an example,introduces the general archaeological education of universities of Henan,sorts out the social education practice from several first-level and second-level museums of Henan,and summarizes all kinds archaeologicallectures of the province to the public.In the third part,according to the order of development,the history of Henan public archaeology from print media to electronic media to online media is reviewed.The fourth part classifies the archaeological activities facing the public according to the audience’s understanding of archaeology.The last chapter is based on the actual situation,summarizes the characteristics of public archaeological practice of Henan,and preliminary discussion on some problems in the process of public archaeological development.In order to improve the efficiency of public archaeological practice and achieve the purpose of enhancing the protection and utilization of public cultural heritage,from the perspective of communication,the idea of constructing a public archaeological effect evaluation system is proposed.
