A Study Of Wang Wei’s Poetry In The Sinology Of North America

This thesis focuses on the study of Wang Wei’s poetry by North American sinologists,combing the general situation of Wang Wei’s poetry research in North American sinology,focusing on the study and interpretation of Wang Wei’s poems by Stephen Owen,Marsha Lynn Wagner and Pauline Yu.The differences between Chinese and Western cultural contexts in his research reveal different interpretation paths of his research.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which comprehensively discusses the research of Wang Wei’s poetry in North American academic circles and the research of domestic scholars on the study of Wang Wei’s poetry in North America.Taking time as a clue to comb the study of Wang Wei’s poetry in North American sinology and explaining the origin and significance of this topic.The second part analyzes the research situation of Wang Wei’s poetry in the Sinology of North America.Mainly from the author’s research,thematic ideas,artistic features,comparative analysis and other types of research,this paper sorts and analyzes the Wang Wei poetry research in the North American sinology.The third part is the case study of Wang Wei’s poetry research in North American sinology circles,mainly from the research method path,research characteristics,theoretical interest,etc.,to the most representative three North American sinologists Stephen Owen,Marsha Lynn Wagner,Pauline Yu’s Wang Wei poetry The study was analyzed,compared,reviewed and viewpoint.The fourth part is the conclusion,summarizing the research results,discussing the inspiration of Wang Wei’s poetry research in the Chinese sinology of North America to the study of Wang Wei’s poetry in today’s Chinese academic circles,and evaluating its research and analyzing its characteristics for researchers.reference.
