Depression is an emotional disorder characterized by low mood, decreased interest, slow thinking and cognitive impairment. It has the characteristics of high prevalence, high disability rate, high recurrence rate and high suicide rate. Some studies have shown that depression is related to individuals’ negative processing bias, while negative processing bias is characterized by abnormal emotional processing and cognitive control defects.Individuals with a negative cognitive style are more likely to develop depression after negative life events, and those who are cognitively vulnerability to depression are such individuals. Many studies on the cognitive control of depression have shown that the cognitive control of depressed individuals is impaired and affected by emotional processing. However, similar studies are rare in the group with cognitive vulnerability to depression, and due to the differences in emotional arousal and emotional valence, the influence of emotion on the cognitive control of cognitive vulnerability to depression individuals has not been concluded yet.Through studying the mechanisms by which emotions affect cognitive control in people who are cognitive vulnerability to depression,it may be possible to help cognitive vulnerability to depression people reduce the risk of developing depression in the face of some negative events. The university stage is an important period of transition to social life,at this stage are more susceptible to academic pressure, interpersonal discomfort, the employment problem, such as negative life events,so the incidence of depression of college students at high levels, many studies at home and abroad also confirms this,so the study of college students’ depression individual has important practical significance. Therefore, this study uses the international emotional picture system to induce positive, neutral and negative emotions, the revised AX-CPT task was used to explore how individuals weighed these two cognitive controls, and the characteristics and differences in proactive control and reactivecontrol between cognitive vulnerability to depression individuals and non-depressed cognitive vulnerability individuals under three kinds of emotions were investigated in college students. The Short-form Version of the Cognitive Style Questionnaire(CSQ-SF)and the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(CES-D)were used to explore the characteristics of the cognitive vulnerability to depression and depressive symptoms among college students.Screening participants through the weakest link approach from the CSQ-SF.Finally,two groups of subjects were screened out from 1210 subjects, among which 167 were in the cognitively vulnerability to depression group and 155 were in the cognitively vulnerability to non-depression group. The detection rate of cognitively vulnerability to depression was 14.79%.The results of gender t-test showed that the weakest link score of CSQ-SF,the gender difference of causes and outcome dimensions of negative cognitive style were significant, and the scores of female students were higher than those of male students. The correlation analysis of the two scales showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the scores of depression symptoms and the weakest link score of CSQ-SF,as well as the negative cognitive reasons. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the scores of three dimensions of self-worth.This suggests that individuals with more negative cognitive style also have more severe depressive symptoms. In the second study, the AX-CPT task with emotional pictures was used to explore the characteristics and differences of college with cognitive vulnerability to depression and non-depressive cognitive vulnerability under three emotional valences in proactive control and reactive control. The subjects were randomly selected from two groups of college students selected from the first study.A total of 183 college students participated in the experimental study(91 in the depressed cognitive vulnerability group and 92 in the non-depressed cognitive vulnerability group). The results showed that the cognitive control of depressed cognitively vulnerability college students was impaired, which showed that the error rate and response time index of AY and BX sequences in the depressed cognitively vulnerable group were higher than those in the non-depressed cognitively vulnerable group.Compared with neutral emotions, positive emotions reduced the level of proactive control of two groups of college students, but positive emotions only had a negative effect on the level of reactive control of college students with cognitive vulnerability to depression,And had no significant effect on the level of reactive control of college students with cognitive vulnerability to depression.
