Researching On The “Don” Method In Platform Sultra Of The Sixth Partriarch

Buddhism is about the "subjective philosophy" of human beings.Hui Neng’s Zen thoughts care for human life,pay attention to the tension between human beings and the soul,and try to guide people to break free from the troubled secular life,surpass the limited nature of life,and gain spiritual freedom.Return to the true face of the self and realize the state of life that is free and harmonious.Based on this,Hui Neng put forward the idea of "Don" method with independent creativity,emphasizing the realization of the enlightenment,and conforming to the self-reality of the current reality.Epiphany is an important method of Zen Buddhism and the most distinctive part of Hui Neng’s thought.Therefore,this article takes the "Don" method of " Platform Sultra of The Sixth Partriarch" as the research object,which is mainly divided into three parts:The first part mainly discusses the ideological origin,theoretical premise and feasibility of the "Don" method,in order to clearly present the cultural background and historical context formed by the "Don" method.The "Don" method incorporates the core of Indian Buddhist thought and the traditional Chinese cultural concept.It not only has a profound source of Buddhist history,but also absorbs Confucianism and Taoism,and embodies the new Zen of inheritance and innovation.The world has buddha nature,and Hui can further attribute the Buddha nature to the self.The self is the root of the law,and emphasizes the initiative and consciousness of self-enlightenment.Therefore,the self is the theoretical premise of the "Don" method.Hui Neng has established a self-consistent ontology of emptiness,emphasizing the way of preaching without "writing the text",emphasizing the observation of heart-to-heart and prajna wisdom,not confined to words,and the truth of self-conclusion is the "Don" method key."Don" is intended to fit the supreme Bodhi,and It is necessary to follow the Meditation-Wisdom Buddhist ideology.With no thoughts as the sect,no phase as the body,no living,untie the heart,and free self-satisfaction with freedom and stagnation.And then it’s the essence of engaging in introspection and seeing the nature.The second part goes deep into the core of the "Don" method,focusing on the content,characteristics and ways of achieving the "Don" method.The "Don" method inherently contains the two dimensions of "Don" and "Enlightenment",emphasizing the rapid state of enlightenment."Don" corresponds to "gradual",which has led to the gradual division of Buddhism.Therefore,it focuses on the analysis of "Deng" and "gradual";the "Don" method emphasizes that "learning" has an inner consciousness.It means that the two have similarities.The "Don" method emphasizes that the present is the realization,the single-handedness goes straight,and the unconscious mind seeks to be freed.The realization of the Buddha’s land determines the characteristics of "epiphany" that is instantaneous,realistic and straightforward.The daily practice of the "Don" method provides a simple method of practice,subverting the early practice of meditation and meditation,emphasizing self-centeredness,self-sufficiency,and highlighting the characteristics of the meditation of Zen.The civilianization process of the "Don" law.The third part discusses the "Don" method and the traditional Chinese aesthetics of life.Chinese classical philosophy cares for life,and explores the origin of life from the perspective of human beings.The "Don" method also pursues the transcendence of the soul and the harmony of the spirit.The understanding of the mind is the way of liberation of life,bringing a new atmosphere to Buddhism and thus affecting it.The way of thinking of the world provides a new perspective on literary art and later aesthetics,and together with Confucianism and Taoism,it constructs the basic pattern of Chinese traditional culture.
