Musical Characteristics Of Errenzhuan

Er renzhuan is a popular folk art form in northeast China.In the early stage of development,the music system was too complicated due to the wide absorption of other musical and dramatic features.Since the 1980 s,the establishment of a professional Er renzhuan team led by the folk art troupe of Jilin province has opened up new repertoire of Er renzhuan,and the art of Er renzhuan with both refined and popular tastes has reached an unprecedented and unparalleled level.This study takes five classical works created by folk art troupe of Jilin province during the 15 years from 1978 to 1993 as the core,and analyzes the characteristics of Er renzhuan music.In the first chapter,the creation and development of the folk art troupe in Jilin province are sorted out with the innovative cultural theory,and then the creative concept of the troupe and the uniqueness of the five classic works are explained.In the second chapter,we analyze the characteristic factors of duet’s music phoneme system and its modulation system.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of music’s flexibility,which is mainly caused by the changeability of its beat position system and cavity position system.In the fourth chapter,Er renzhuan music is compared with other four sister arts,revealing that music in northeast China enculturates people’s aesthetic consciousness of music under the common "sound environment".Through innovation,regulation,flexibility and enculturation,this paper reveals that Er renzhuan music should develop innovatively without leaving its origin.
