An Analysis Of Male Images In Chinese Female TV Series

At present,there are more and more TV dramas with women as the subject matter in our country,and there has been blowout growth in recent years.There are deep reasons for the rise of female TV dramas.The social status of women has risen,and they have begun to emerge in various industries of social life.At the same time,women have gradually entered the TV drama industry as directors or screenwriters.Make the female voice in the TV series creation more and more,promote the emergence and development of the female theme TV series.As an important part of female TV dramas,the investigation of their identity orientation and role characteristics can help to understand the media image of men more clearly and comprehensively.What kind of images men show in female TV dramas,what means these images are presented through,what their significance and function are,and what are the limitations of image expression,all of which are the focus of this paper.The study found that female TV dramas provide a new representation place for men,thus showing different male images from traditional TV dramas,which are influenced by historical context,director gender,protagonist gender and so on.But.There are also some limitations and parochialism in male images in female TV dramas.Based on the analysis of this problem,this paper puts forward the difficulties and problems to be paid attention to when shaping male images in female TV dramas.
