| The Si Ku Quan Shu,compiled during the reign of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty,contains more than 3000 ancient books of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty and before.It is the largest comprehensive series of ancient books in ancient China and the unique cultural masterpiece in the world at that time.From the beginning of the large-scale collection of books in the whole country in the thirty-seventh year of the Qianlong(1772)until the end of the ban movement in the fifty-eighth year of the Qianlong reign(1793),Zhili has always been in contact with this movement.The librarians of Si Ku Quan Shu in Zhili also played an important role in the compilation of Si Ku Quan Shu.There were 238 kinds of books collected in Zhili three times before and after the stage of collecting books;251 kinds of writings of Zhili people were recorded in the General Catalogue of Four Collections of Si Ku Quan Shu Books;in the process of checking and confiscating prohibited books,there were 11 literary prisons in Zhili,and 21 kinds of writings written by 11 Zhili people were banned and destroyed.Objectively speaking,Qianlong’s revision of Si Ku Quan Shu did play a positive role in preserving the local documents of Zhili,but its destruction of Zhili culture should not be ignored by us.This paper presents the relationship between the compilation of Si Ku Quan Shu and Zhili,which mainly includes four parts: The first part clarifies their important contributions in the compilation of Si Ku Quan Shu by compiling the directors of Si Ku Quan Shu.In the second part,we can know the Zhili cultural situation of the region to a certain extent by investigating the collection groups of Zhili official books,and making statistics and analysis on the collection books of Zhili Governor.In the third part,through sorting out and analyzing the literary inquisition cases and the works of the literary inquisitions banned in the process of the ban movement in Zhili area,we can realize the cruelty of the literary inquisitions in the Qing Dynasty and the serious disaster destruction caused by the seizure of the books banned to the ancient books and intellectuals in China.The fourth part studies and discusses the study characteristics of zhili scholars and the value of zhili scholars’ writings by analyzing the distribution of their writings through the distribution of their writings in Canon,History,Philosophy and Literature.At the end of the article,three main Zhili scholars’ bibliographies are appended that in the General Catalogue of Si Ku Quan Shu The Zhili Event Table in Compiling the Archives of Si Ku Quan Shu are also appended.The purpose is to provide the documents and materials about the problems of Zhili scholars,so that we can have a complete and clear understanding of the cultural development of Zhili area. |
