Application Of Computer Technology In Tang And Song Dynasty Petal-shaped Lacquerware

Petal-shaped lacquerware has been created since the tang dynasty,and it was very popular among the public,but because of it complex shape,the traditional rotary cutting and other processing methods are difficult to produce,for which the most production have to still rely on the form of wrapping it in the linen and taking out its contents.However,the traditional way of producing bodiless lacquer has not been greatly improved since its development thousands of years ago.It takes vast time and energy to make a bodiless lacquer.Modern technology of information has already covered almost every corners of the world,so applying the modern technology to the traditional progress of production of bodiless lacquer can sharply reduce the difficulty and the cost and make it possible for small batch production,which brings huge convenience to the creation of contemporary arts and crafts works and the production of cultural and creative products.The biggest difficulty of the bodiless lacquer lies in the production of the original model.The quality of the model directly affects the value of the finished lacquerware,which can be well solved by modern 3D printing technology.Besides,a lot of decorative techniques that are combined with lacquerware can be improved with the help of modern computer technology.This paper provides a new methods directly pointing at this topic,we put 3D printing technology into the traditional bodiless process,and the laser engraving technology was combined with the lacquer's mother-of-pearl decoration technology to produce the final product,which realized the optimization of the traditional bodiless process by modern computer technology.In this paper,the research on the forming technology of petal-shaped lacquerware and traditional lacquerware at home and abroad is firstly analyzed.Using the technology of computer as it was used in the field of cultural relic reproduction,the feasibility of applying the method to lacquer making is also calculated.Then after studying the origin and development of petal shape in China deeply in order to lay a solid foundation for the later design of petal shape lacquer box.The development of petal-shaped lacquerware have also been analyzed from various aspects,as well as its production and decoration techniques.After that,the trend of applying modern computer technology to the handcraft works productions is considered carefully,and the ideas for the relevant produce methods for lacquers are raised.Finally,according to the actual production process of octagonal petal-shaped lacquer box designed by the author,the specific application mode of computer technology such as 3D printing in traditional bodiless lacquer box is described in detail.According to the successful completion of octagonal petal shaped lacquer box,the feasibility of application of contemporary computer technology in the production of traditional bodiless lacquer box can be proved.
