With the rapid development of information technology and network media,the cultural form has undergone a revolutionary change.Visual factors have gradually become the core elements of contemporary culture and an important means of transmitting information and representing meaning.That is to say,the visual culture based on images has gradually overstepped the print culture based on words,and image symbols have become the dominant force in human cognitive world.The basic characteristics of visual culture coincide with the cognitive habits and aesthetic demands of youth groups,and become an important carrier of shaping youth values in contemporary society.Youth use visual culture to show themselves and express their personality,life interest and value pursuit.In the era of visual culture,more and more young people are "dominated" by visual media,and their views and values are more and more strongly influenced by visual culture.As a "social force leading the wind",youth values have a far-reaching impact on the mainstream values of society and the future development of China.Therefore,we must attach importance to the influence of visual culture on youth values and guide the positive development of youth values.Therefore,in order to promote the healthy development of youth values,we need to start from the following aspects on the basis of in-depth understanding of visual cultural characteristics,development trends and the formation of youth values.Firstly,we must clarify the interactive logic between visual culture and youth values,and then objectively analyze the realistic manifestation of the dual influence of visual culture on youth values;secondly,we should make attribution analysis from the cultural,social,educational and subjective levels to elaborate the main reasons for the influence of visual culture on youth values;lastly,we should control it from the mainstream.To optimize the environment of visual culture dissemination,to carry out all-round education,and to put forward practical guiding countermeasures from the four perspectives of youth subject consciousness.The author hopes that through the in-depth exploration of the above problems,not only can we guide young people to examine visual culture with a correct attitude,but also try to sort out thecorresponding countermeasures on this basis,to explore the compatibility between visual culture and youth values education,so as to solve the negative impact of current visual culture on youth values.
