| Er’renTai is a kind of distinctive local opera in central and Western Inner Mongolia,which has long been sought after and has greatly improved since the reform and opening up,Especially the large-scale original modern drama.The amount works has increased significantly with more novel and unique scripts,more flexible and diverse stage presentations and more up-to-date themes.Er’renTai has won the recognition of contemporary audiences not only for the liberation of creative ideas,but also because of the improvement of creative environment and scientific and technological levels.Summarizing the successful experience of Er’renTai in Inner Mongolia during this period is conducive for better development of Er’renTai in Inner Mongolia.According to the research data collected by the author,the academic community has paid little attention to it,with insufficient comprehensive research.It is now the 40 th anniversary of reform and opening up and the 70 th anniversary of the founding of New China.Therefore,it is very necessary to conduct a comprehensive and systematic study of it.On the basis of a survey of some well-known Er’renTai artists in our district,the author first combines his own experience of stage practice and theater observation in the undergraduate study stage with more than thirty large-scale original Er’renTai modern dramas and plays observations in Inner Mongolia after reform and opening up to study and discuss the artistic characteristics and development paths of the large-scale original Er’renTai modern opera in Inner Mongolia since the reform and opening up.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,main text and conclusion.The four chapters of the main text focus on analyzing the artistic characteristics and development problems from two aspects,the characteristics of the script and the stage presentation,and exploring the new path of its development.The first chapter focuses on the development trend of large original Er’renTai in Inner Mongolia since the reform and opening up while The second chapter on the features of original Er’renTai modern drama in Inner Mongolia.It is studied mainly in the following aspects.First,many new subjects has been included.Many new themes,such as urban and migrant worker themes,have emerged.Second,distinctive times spirit is well expressed.Highlighted performance is advocating a new culture of civilization,advocating the spirit of freedom,and carrying forward the spirit of patriotism.Third,the capacity of the work has been significantly expanded.It is mainly manifested in the complexity of the plot and the diversity of the characters.The third chapter shows the characteristics of the large-scale original Er’renTai modern drama in Inner Mongolia since the reform and opening up.They are listed as follows.First is the innovative usage of opera elements,such as scenario music,lyrical language expression and so on.Second,the freedom of character performance is far more increased.flexible scene conversion and rich performance methods are the main form of expression.Third,the scenes of dance and beauty are more realistic,both in the style of scenery and the shape of characters.The fourth chapter aims at the three problems the modern drama of the large original Er’renTai in inner Mongolia is facing at present,namely: the modeling phenomenon,the lack of high-quality scripts and the shortage of classical repertoires.It is suggested to work on the following three aspects: emancipate thoughts and renew creative conceptions;increase the training and introduction of professional personnel;create classic repertoires.These methods can ensure its healthy growth as well as better Chinese storytelling. |
