Objective:To investigate the characteristics of working memory of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and their changes in neuropsychological and event-related potentials, this paper try to find the electrophysiological indicators that reflect the visual memory of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and improve the diagnosis and rehabilitation of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and so on.Methods:Patients with ADHD were enrolled in the pediatric neuropsychiatric outpatient service at the Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University from September 2016 to March 2017.All patients were treated by a specialist according to the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders(DSM-V)Screening was performed using the Conners Teacher Scale,Coneners Parental Scale,Raven Inference Test, and the eligible ADHD children were selected for ADHD.At the same time, normal children with age,sex and educational level were selected as the control group. All the subjects included in the study need to complete the following tests and assessment:1?visual work memory n-backtest(including 0-back,1-back and 2-back)to assess the subjects of visual work memory characteristics;2?the event-related potential P300 determination:the use of visual Oddball induced observation of P300 latency and amplitude changes.Results:1.In the visual job memory 0-back task, the correct rate of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder children and normal children were not significantly different, but the response time of the two groups reached a statistically significant.2.In the visual work memory 1-back and 2-back task, the correct rateof the two groups reached a statistically significant, but not the response time.3.Two groups of P300 latency and amplitude change were not significantly different on left forehead area(F3),right forehead area(F4),left central area(C3),right central area(C4),left top area(F3),left upper quadrant(P3),right top area(P4),forehead area(Fz),central area(Cz),top area(Pz)and occipital area(Oz).4.Visual work memory task—N-back can be used as a check for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder cognitive function of the objective indicators. Not only can be used in the early diagnosis, but also can be used in the latter part of the improvement and assessment.
