A Study Of "Persuading The World" Novels Of The Ming And Qing Dynasties

The period of the Ming and Qing Dynasties is the peak of the creation of “persuading the world novels”.The so-called “ persuading the world” refers to the function embodied in the novel,aiming at exhorting the world and guiding the world.The emergence of this literary phenomenon is closely related to the historical background of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,social customs changing.People being not so honest as their ancestors,moral declining,and the number of fiction works,artistic achievement is relatively high.In the novels,the novelists use the unique ideas to express their novels as the carrier of the novel,take full advantage of the characteristics of the novel’s popular language and the speed of communication,and express the social real world of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the novel works,integrating into earnest persuasion between the lines,hoping to make up for the world.In this paper,the object of study is the writing novels whose purpose is“warning” and “awakening” and “waking up the world”,appearing in the Ming and Qing dynasties from Ming Dynasty Wanli to the Qing Emperor Kangxi period.Tthrough the summary of the background of the Ming and Qing dynasties,based on the analysis of fiction works,using induction,contrast and statistical methods to explore that the novelist show the ideal society through persuasion.The introduction of this paper includes two parts.One is the concept definition of “persuade the world” and “Ming and Qing Dynasties”.This paper analyzes the existing research results of the Ming and Qing Dynasties’ novels,and define Ming Dynasty Wanli to the Qing Emperor Kangxi period as the specific time of the research.Second,through the analysis of the status quo of the study of persevering stories,find out theresearch direction and focus of this article,explore the significance of persuading the study of persuasion.The main body consists of four chapters:The first chapter: the idea of “persuading the world” in the novels of the Ming and Qing dynasties showed a certain inheritance.The living conditions of the novelist as the middle and lower literaty and the political,economic and ideological and cultural background of the whole society,which bring an important opportunity to creating “persuading the world”.The second chapter: “Persuading the world” novels are used as the carrier to persuade by novelists and the way to persuade the world is diverse.The novelists persuade the world,or in the hope of the highest ruler,or by means of religious karma,or through the return of Confucian traditional morality,and the way of persuading the world presented in a novel is the interweaving of various ways of persuading the world.The third chapter: This chapter is based on the analysis of the novel,and explores the real world that the novelists want to persuade by novel.The novelist realizes the imitation of the real world through the novel,and the praise of the social malpractice in the novel is also the praise of the real world.The fourth chapter: the artistic feature of “persuading the world”novel is the key to the smooth realization of the function of the novel.The writers of the novel make use of the different stories of the novels.The image of the characters and the use of certain narrative techniques,which make the composition of these novels to assume the role of the novel to persuade the world.
