| In the framework of Said’s literary theory,literature and politics are closely related,and the vision of imagination is the link between the two.Imagination is not the history of real existence,and the geography in the imaginary field is not a real one,but it is a kind of political expression.The vision has completed the shaping of the other’s image,and formed the construction of the diametrically opposed categories of our relationship with them,the west and the east,civilization and barbarism.In this way,the west further consolidated its superior position,whitewashed the cruel colonial plunder,and made the colonies freely accepted by the ruling people.Said’s reveals the potential political implications of literature and points out his own literary and political ideas.His theory comes from Foucault and Gramsci,but there is a trade-off between them.In his view,it is necessary to use the contrapuntal reading in order to correctly view the literary writing from a more comprehensive perspective.literature contains the character of vision imagine which set out to discuss the correlation between literature and politics,and it is necessary to imagine the connotation of the vision and vision with thal histe reorical and geographical relations as the breakthrough point,understanding deeper literary imagination behind the view attributes,discussing the political nature of literary imagination vision,and stating the theoretical sources of the Said’s literary and political view.In turn,the author explores the representation of the political nature of the literary imagination vision in literary texts by the contrapuntal reading he advocated.Contrapuntal reading is a changing perspective,the imperialism and its resistance to the two main processes must be fully considered in reading.Through the strategy of resistance of the eastern self-imagining,it reveals the inequality relations of “self” and “other” existing in the empire literature. |
