From the avant-garde literature of experimental nature, which started from "isolated Island",to the daily narration of power to reflect on the history represented by the "Corn" series,to the return to the secular, the reality, and the "Massage",which shows the world and human feelings.Bi Feiyu’s creation from immature to mature step by step.Bi Feiyu creates a contradictory and broken mirror world in his works. In this mirror-image world, between seeing and being seen, his characters are either active or passively looking at themselves in the other’s "being seen",but eventually lose themselves in seeking the identity of others.Children lose free space for development under the pressure of the adult world, women in male power The world loses the independent value of the female being, while the man becomes the symbol of desire in the shadow of fame and profit. The lost figure in the mirror image conveys Bi Feiyu’s thoughts on the survival dilemma of the subject: the sense of inability of man to find self-identity and control his destiny in the absurd reality. This kind of survival dilemma stems from the endless desire of human being, the confinement of traditional thought, and the culture of fracture under the change of external environment.Bi Feiyu wrote a tragic song about life with vivid characters, and these tragic characters with similar fate are just a mirror, behind which is his philosophy of fate and his spiritual orientation. In the new era,how to get rid of the one-dimensional character in the works, shape the new character image, rebuild the human subjectivity, hold the intellectual position between politics and the market, and recreate the spiritual utopia that belongs to the writer. It has become a common problem for contemporary writers, including Bi Feiyu.
