From Real Characters To Dramatic Characters,the Use Of Audio-visual Language In The Documentary Character

This paper mainly analyzes the documentary "Character" from the perspective of audio-visual language.In terms of audio-visual performance,"Characte" is mainly shown as narration with panorama and long lens,conveying emotions with close-up and empty lens,rendering atmosphere with music and sound effects,and expressing emotions with changing editing.The innovation of "Character" is reflected in the post-editing,which regards the work as a pingopera with clear and distinct structure and distinct layers.Specific sound effects are transferred to add a sense of ceremony and form to the film.Finally points out the deficiency of the work.I hope to provide reference for future documentary creation by reflecting on the "Character" in this paper.
