Practice Report On Syntactic Reconstruction And Simultaneous Interpretation In Chinese-english Interpretation

As China’s international status grows,China’s international influence grows,and its role in international organizations becomes more important.This requires our translators to build a bridge of peace,friendship and cooperation between China and other countries and international organizations.This requires our translators to continue to use our wisdom,to contribute our strength,to use the "carrier" to enhance the distance between China and the rest of the world and international organizations,and to promote exchanges between China and other countries and international organizations in various fields.I take the April 2018 World Women’s International Forum as an example.The purpose of the Forum is to uphold the rights of women in the world,With the help of this forum,the exchange among women in the world can be promoted,and the mutual understanding among women in the world will be enhanced,so that the countries of the world can use the forum to solve the practical problems faced by women all over the world.During the forum,Yu Dan,a former professor and doctoral supervisor of Beijing normal University,delivered a keynote speech.Yu Dan as a scholar,her speech is not so concise in language,and there are often repeated words,which need to be translated elliptically.However,due to the complexity and illogicality of Chinese expression,these factors lead the western audience to be unable to understand the real intention of the speaker.This requires the interpreters to actively convey the source language information they hear to the target audience as well as to the target audience when they understand the intention of the speaker.This requires the interpreters to master certain translation techniques,such as saving translation.The method of complex sentence integration and reconstruction.This paper will use this case to briefly introduce the application of the techniques of translation and complex sentence reconstruction in interpreting practice,so as to help the interpreters to deal with such Chinese speakers in a leisure manner so as not to rush on their feet.
