Since 2010,after the pains of film industrialization reform,domestic films began to concentrate on collective efforts,highlighted by a large number of small and medium-cost films represented by low and medium capital investment,and gradually occupied an absolute dominant position in the current domestic film market structure.In the current film market,this kind of domestic small and medium-cost movies,based on the contradiction and anxiety in the period of social transformation and the subcultural narrative construction highlighted in the context of consumer society,tells about the inner spiritual perplexity and value orientation of the main audience groups represented by young audiences.As an important expression field of youth subculture and its inner spiritual orientation,small and medium-cost movies,through their unique visual discourse production,dissemination and communication,act on social culture and its subject,and in turn are influenced,restricted and constructed by society and its culture.With the help of visual image expression,the domestic small and medium-cost films under the subculture of youth rely on the narrative mode of love,comedy,animation and other types,or express the value separation based on their own existence,or carry out the "resistance strategy" in the "deviant youth",or write the freedom and search of rebels,or construct the "heterotopia" in the "secondary" world.Domains,or bear the mainstream culture in the consumer society to incorporate and swallow up...Throughout the success of a large number of domestic small and medium-cost films,it is not difficult to find that this kind of films is precisely because of its inherent spiritual and cultural expression level,accurately grasping the audience’s agitation to consume carnival,deeply matching the aesthetic interest of the current youth group,by means of various forms of sales of "youth","dream","freedom","rebellion","love" and "peace".The value of such codes as "wait" has repeatedly created a box office myth with small and large size.Based on the theory of film sociology and the relationship between film texts and social pan-texts,this paper makes an in-depth study on the content of domestic small and medium-cost films since 2010 from a dynamic point of view,which undoubtedly has positive practical significance for promoting the development of the current Chinese film industry.
