This report is a translation project report. The original text is from Chapter4 and Chapter5 of the book Unscaled: How A.I.and a New Generation of Upstarts are Creating the Economy of the Future written by Hemant Taneja and Kevin Maney. This book consists of three parts,a total of 11 chapters. These two chapters discuss: in the new era of unscaled, what changes can artificial intelligence and the new wave of technology that it has spawned bring for today’s or future’s healthcare and education.Through learning, artificial intelligence can understand individual consumers, thus provides the customerization services for them.At present,as China is vigorously developing artificial intelligence, the translation of this source text is of great importance for Chinese companies, business makers and leaders.Peter Newmark’s theory of Text Typology is taken as the guiding theory.According to Text Typology theory, the source text both belongs to the informative text and expressive text, but is more inclined to informative text. Therefore, during the translating, the translator should pay attention to the accurate transmission of information and the response of the target readers, and should also strive to make the translation easy to understand while the profession can be preserved. As to the translation of proper nouns and technical terms, transliteration and zero translation with notes will be adopted;as to the translation of attributive clause, inversion and division will be used. Finally, the experience gained and problems to be solved are summarized.
