| The study explored and discussed the relational factors of social network site use and body satisfaction.In study 1,the study used the Motivation for SNSs Usage Scale,SNS Use Intensity scale,Body Areas Satisfaction Scale(BASS),Body Dissatisfaction to explore the demographic characteristics among 312 participants,including the differences in gender,one-child,diet,dieting will,hometown.In study 2,312 participants were assessed the Motivation for SNSs Usage Scale,SNS Use Intensity scale,Body Areas Satisfaction Scale(BASS),Body Dissatisfaction,the Social Comparison Orientation Scale,Chinese Version of Self-Compassion Scale to explore the relationship among motivation for SNSs usage,SNS use intensity,body satisfaction,social comparison and self-compassion.In study 3.15 participants had intervention by group,and the effect of intervention was discussed.The conclusions are as follows:(1)There was significant difference of motivation for SNSs usage in gender,one-child,dieting,hometown.(2)There was significant difference of SNS use intensity in gender,one-child,dieting.There was no significant difference of SNS use intensity in hometown.(3)There was no significant difference of body satisfaction in gender,dieting.There was significant difference of body satisfaction in one-child.hometown.(4)Motivation for SNSs usage,SNS use intensity had significant correlation with social comparison and self-compassion.(5)The motivation of recognition could only effect body satisfaction.SNS use intensity played a partly mediating role between The motivation of information and interaction and body satisfaction.SNS use intensity played a fully mediating role between The motivation of expression and entertainment and body satisfaction.(6)The relationship between SNS use intensity and body satisfaction was mediated by social comparison,the moderated effect of self-compassion on the relationship between the social comparison and body satisfaction was significant.(7)Group intervention was effective to increase the body satisfaction and self-compassion. |
