A Study On The Artistic Creation Of Documentary Films With Folk Subjects

The continuity of the times and the deep accumulation of folk culture make folk customs a symbol of distinguishing foreign cultures.The changes in the means of communication in the new era have enabled this cultural phenomenon to be expressed through images.The documentary provides a new way of expression for folklore images.This article starts from the documentary of folklore theme,sorts out the status quo of documentary film of Chinese folklore,and relies on the research of folklore documentary on the past.With reference to the development of foreign documentary film,combined with the personal self-made documentary film "Xiangxi Miaogu",the sixth shot of the Miao nationality flower in Xiangxi is taken.On behalf of the drum king Yang Xin’s "Drum King Road",cut into the modern environment,the post-90 s student Gu Qing represented and learned about Miao Drum,from the aspects of aesthetic characteristics,creative features,narrative techniques,image presentation,etc.The dilemma and outlet of the folklore documentary under the development of modern civilization.As the main performance carrier of this documentary film "Xiangxi Miao Drum",Miao Drum reflects unique charm of Miaojia culture.The long-standing Miaojia civilization is active in ethnic minority areas of China.The Miao people of generations have told the history through songs and continued their national imprint.The religious worship of the Miao nationality includes nature worship,totem worship,ghost worship,and ancestor worship.Miao Drum has a rich history and connects modern life.Through the Miao inspiration,we can deeply study the cultural significance behind this dance.This paper analyzes the minority and folklore subjects in the documentary "Xiangxi Miaogu" from a cultural perspective,classifies the folk custom and the deep folk custom in the folklore,and uses the folklore to describe the native language documentary,and unearth the ethnic identity of the Miao people.Apparel customs and deep-seated emotions provide their own reference and reflection on the folklore expression path of documentaries.This paper draws on the research results of predecessors,and on this basis,combined with the self-made documentary "Xiangxi Miaogu" to analyze the creation of folk documentaries.Select Xiangxi,which has a strong regional color and a representative cultural identity of ethnic minorities,as a shooting location,integrate local characteristics with Miaojia culture,and seek a folk protection plan with a local perspective.This article explores the filming process and text form to reflect on how the folklore documentary makes the audience intuitively impression the cultural facts reflected in the film,and meticulously interprets the content of the image language description.How to use digital technology such as time-space reproduction in technology production to create a dialogue across time and space,combined with overseas market and economic value,from the narrative strategy,practical creation,business development and other perspectives to discuss the limitations of folklore documentaries.Finally,from the pre-preparation of the presence,international perspective and international expression,I think about the exploration of the excellent folklore documentary.The current development of documentary film creates a common meaning space in content production.In the production,it faces the disconnection between creative ideas and practice.In the external communication,there will be the limitation of “cultural discounting”.The corresponding experience is proposed for these limitations,and the creative team is required.With the vision of market management,and taking on the mission of cultural heritage,it also has an international perspective,and fully expresses internal communication and external communication.In the specific creation,the author tentatively adopts the method of ethnographic documentary creation,and takes part in the observation and non-intrusive method to shoot various folk rituals,and carries on the deep description of the cultural details.Under the background of globalization,the differences between the people of all ethnic groups are shrinking.Folklore,as a cultural feature,has the practical significance of inheriting the status quo of culture.It has the significance of recording the local native environment,and it also appeals to the people of all ethnic groups to show their self-identity.To achieve a certain degree of cultural understanding,and to be aware of the historical sense of responsibility in the writing of the times,every record of folk culture bears the mission of cultural heritage and protector culture.
