| As a classic of Han Dynasty steles,Liqi Stele was first recorded in Tang Dynasty and was praised as "the first stele of Han Dynasty" in Ming and Qing Dynasty.Especially with the strong approval of Wang Shu in Qing Dynasty,it became popular in the world and became one of the rare and exquisite works. With Guo Zongchang of the Ming Dynasty as the initiator, there have been a large number of theoretical discussions on calligraphy style, but most of them are of sensory evaluation, with insufficient systematic elaboration. This paper synthesizes the reviews of the past dynasties, while focusing on the characteristics of the calligraphic style of Liqi Stele, and summarizes that there exist four styles of "Qing","Jun","Jin","Chen" which correspond to the four aspects of "qige"(energy style),"fengshen"(form spirit),"guli"(bone force)and "bizhi"(writing style)of the calligraphy in Liqi Stele respectively.Through the linguistic analysis of style keywords, this paper firstly explores the origin of word meaning and then refers to the characteristics of lines, structures and rules, and finally settles down in the style of writing based on my years and years of calligraphy writing practice and my aesthetic understanding.By interpreting the characteristics of stele carving knife method and writing style, such as press, turn, square cut, leap and scale,we find out the connection point between the stele technique and style, and thus provide theoretical and practical reference for appreciation and copying, and hence offer space for learners’ self-improvement.Finally,it discusses the "leisure" of temperament and the "elegance" of form and quality,in order to clarify the subjective characteristics and objective value of Liqi Stele, and further elucidates the significance of the tablet in the popularization of calligraphy education. That is,through the study of ancient and elegant formal language, learners can ultimately achieve the promotion of personality spirit,by entering the solemn and vigorously aesthetic mood of Liqi Stele. |
