The Piano Concerto Yellow River was composed in 1969.It was adapted by Yin Chengzong,Chu Wanghua,Liu Zhuang,Sheng Lihong,Xu Feixing and Shi Shucheng according to the Yellow River Chorus written by Xian Xinghai during the Anti-Japanese War.This immortal masterpiece symbolizing the spirit of the Chinese nation has become a classic piano concerto with Chinese national characteristics after numerous performances around the world.At present,the study of this work is mainly aimed at the creation process,the controversy of different versions,or the analysis of music ontology,musical form and creative characteristics,lacking of the exploration of the performance skills of the work.This paper takes the two versions of Piano Concerto Yellow River as the research object.Firstly,it gives a brief overview of the creative background and process of the Piano Concerto Yellow River.Secondly,it focuses on the performing skills of the first,second and fourth movements,including: the practice of the Chinese color section of Yellow River Boatman's Music,the use of chord strength and the performance of the Adagio section.The singing quality of the high part melody in Ode to the Yellow River,the handling of the octave continuation and the use of the pedal in the slow board movement,the technical difficulties of the Chinese color octave performance in Defending the Yellow River,how to speed up the practice and the use of the pedal in the fast board movement.Finally,the cooperation between the two pianos is analyzed,and the cultivation of cooperation consciousness and the research of cooperation technology are explored.Based on their own stage experience,a brief analysis is made of the solution of sudden problems on the stage.
