Teaching materials,exams and other educational and teaching activities all need to choose appropriate topics as materials.Therefore,it is particularly important to select suitable topics for learners at different levels.This paper focuses on the discussion of topic content selection in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education is a guiding reference for TCFL teachers.This paper takes the level goal and the topic goal of the language knowledge in International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education as the reference object,and makes a comparative analysis of the selected objects.This paper attempts to grade the table of Chinese teaching topics and contents in International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education in order to provide some help for Chinese international educators in selecting topics and contents.Due to the complexity of specific classroom teaching,it is not easy to collect relevant materials for the topic content.The content of the topic is compared and analyzed with the reference object to determine whether it meets the requirements of International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education.In terms of textbook,this paper selects HSK standard course,a relatively new and authoritative set of textbooks on the market,as the research object.The article will show the topic content and frequency in the text of this set of textbooks in the form of a table,and the proportion of topic content in the table and chart,and then draw a conclusion by analyzing the chart and comparing with the reference object.At the end of the paper,Suggestions will be made for Chinese international educators on the topic content selection based on the investigation and analysis of the topics of interest to Chinese learners and the analysis results above.
