Speaking of the history of seal and seal engraving in Japan,from Nara era to Ping’an era,Dahe ancient seal was made based on the influence of Sui and Tang culture.Only after the Middle Ages did the seal begin to have a new historical turning point.After the mid-seventeenth century,Huang Bo Monk,who sailed through Nagasaki,Japan.Duli Xingyi and Donggao Xinyue were regarded as the ancestors of Japanese modern seal carving.By means of comparative analysis and literature analysis,the paper began with the historical background of the two men,Duli Xingyi and Donggao Xinyue,who crossed Nagasaki,from multiple perspectives and domains,such as seal cutting,calligraphy,medicine,guqin and other aspects to explored their contributions and teacher-inheritance relations,what’s more through the analysis of their friendship with renjianzhudong to understand their impact on the Japanese literary community and historical role.
