| The textbook is for teaching.It is a reference for teachers’ teaching and studens’ learning,and plays an important role in the teaching process.In the teaching activities,the use of teaching materials directly affects the realization of teaching objectives.Therefore,the selection and evaluation of teaching materials is inseparable from the users of the textbooks.It is an indispensable reference factor for the selection of textbooks to adapt to the level of learners and meet the needs of learners.This thesis,the textbook of Intermediate Chinese Reading Course for Foreigners(taking volumes I and II of the second edition 《Developing Chinese·Intermediate Reading》 as an example)are used as research texts,the users of the intermediate reading textbooks as the research object,systematically analyzes 《 Developing Chinese(Second Edition)· Intermediate Reading》(I,II),and focuses on the problems that occur in the teaching process of the intermediate Chinese reading materials.We collected the users’ perceptions and evaluations of 《 Developing Chinese(Second Edition)· Intermediate Reading》(I,II)through the questionnaires and interviews.Based on the comparison between the internal analysis conclusions of textbooks with school training objectives and results of the questionnaire interviews,in response to the applicability of 《 Developing Chinese(Second Edition)· Intermediate Reading》 that undergraduate students of Jiangxi Normal University selected textbook and affirmed its use value.However,there are still some problems in the quality of textbooks and the way of teachers’ use.It is recommended that schools and teachers must adjust the curriculum in time according to the teaching objects and actual teaching conditions.Based on the above situation,we combine individual teaching practice experience and put forward specific suggestions on how to improve the use efficiency of intermediate reading textbooks from the aspects of teaching mode,teaching content,teaching tools,teaching methods and so on.Meanwhile,on the premise of meeting the school’s training objectives,we recommend that the selection of intermediate reading textbooks for Chinese as a foreign language in Colleges and universities should give prominence to the evaluation of the textbook’s content arrangement,corpus,illustrations,exercises and new words,so as to ensure the quality of the textbook.Secondly,according to the characteristics and levels of the teaching objects,we should select appropriate teaching materials,pay close attention to the students’ adaptation to the use of teaching materials and teaching,make corresponding adjustments in time,In order to truly achieve the purpose of teaching materials for teaching services. |
