| Since the 1990 s,the student-teacher relationship has become one of the most important topics for more and more researchers.Student-teacher relationship refers to a kind of psychological relationship between teachers and students in the process of education and daily communication,which has an important impact on students’ learning,including learning engagement.In recent years,experts have also paid attention to the research on learning engagement in the educational circles.The measurement of students’ learning engagement can tell students’ learning process and evaluate students’ learning quality.In this study,450 Junior middle school students are surveyed by questionnaires.The researcher uses SPSS and Amos to analyze the three research questions in this thesis: What the differences are in student-teacher relationship.What the differences are in learning engagement.What the correlation is between student-teacher relationship and learning engagement.This thesis includes five Chapters.The first Charter is the introduction of research background,significance and structure.The second Chapter is the summary of relevant research documents.The third Chapter is the introduction of research design.The fourth Chapter is the analysis of data.And the fifth Chapter is the summary of research results.The study finds that:1.There are gender and grade differences in student-teacher relationship.2.There are gender and grade differences in students’ learning engagement.3.There is a correlation between student-teacher relationship and students’learning engagement.Based on the research conclusions,this study proposes ways to improve students’ learning engagement from the perspective of student-teacher relationship.It can provide theoretical reference for front-line teachers.Therefore,teachers and students should focus on the establishment of good student-teacher relationship as well as reduce conflict and avoidance and increaseintimacy and attachment.Good student-teacher relationship is conducive to enhancing students’ learning engagement and improving the quality of teaching.According to the results of this study,educators can find ways to improve students’ learning engagement and help students improve their learning effect. |
