Research On Creation Path Of Contemporary Experimental Animation From Cross-media Perspective

In the current digital information age,people have a strong demand for information.When a single form of media can no longer meet the needs of the audience,cross-media utilizing the synaesthesia effect between multi-mode media has emerged,which helps us to gain a holistic experience.The exploration of contemporary experimental animation in the cross-media perspective has become an indispensable part of the art field.Contemporary experimental animation has more exhibition platforms and development space in the field of art with its unique advantages of experiment,exploration and innovation.The characteristics of contemporary art,such as sociality,pioneering,cross-border and conceptual,provide nutrients for experimental animation.So how to integrate the contemporary characteristics of contemporary art into experimental animation creation is a problem worth studying.Firstly,on the basis of explaining the concepts of "cross-media","contemporary" and "experimental animation",this paper makes a comprehensive exposition of the development process,characteristics and the relationship between them.This paper studies the relationship between cross-media and contemporary art,and summarizes the characteristics of contemporary art after 1983.Secondly,through the disappearance of unified time,the expansion of media and the uncertainty of boundaries,this paper studies the manifestation forms of experimental animation in the field of contemporary art,fully discusses its artistic value and communication advantages,and attempts to explore it from the four perspectives of interactive art,virtual sensory,cross-border display and conceptual blending.How to draw lessons from the characteristics of contemporary art in contemporary experimental animation?
