| The thesis is about an interpretation of the course,“The Comparison between Chinese and Western Culture”.As a part of the course construction plan,the goal of this practice is to collect information on the course in the current audience(MTI graduates),so as to make adjustments for the course form as well as be a basis for the future bilingual course.At the same time,this plan can also provide a platform for MTI graduates to take interpretation exercise.“The Comparison between Chinese and Western Culture” is formed by a series of lectures.On the requirement of the course team,the interpreter made a live interpretation.The form of this practice is a consecutive interpretation,and the content of it is about the source and development of Buddhism.The current audience is MTI graduates.Through the analysis of pre-interpretation,inter-interpretation and post interpretation,with the mature theory system(the interpretative approach and Gile’s interpreting effort model),this report makes an overall summary for the interpretation practice,and points out advantages and disadvantages during the practice.At the same time,using interpretation skills,such as omission,annotative interpretation,gesture language in the specific set,the author also provides reference for the future practice.This practice makes contribution to the spreading of Chinese culture in the international society,especially the spreading through the target population(International students in the university).Also,through collecting information on the current lecture,this practice makes contribution to the setting of the quality course.To sum it up,this interpretation report has a certain referential value in the interpretation skill and the interpretation experience. |
