The authoritarian centralization system of the Ming and Qing Dynasties developed to the peak.In the field of ideology and culture,the rulers imposed stricter restrictions on the development of Buddhism,especially on Zen.The replacement of dynasties,social unrest and natural disasters have also brought enormous challenges to the development of Buddhism.Taking this as the main background,combined with the specific policies of politics,economy and culture at that time,it is possible to more objectively explore the Hanshan Temple in the Ming and Qing Dynasties as an ordinary local temple.Why is it not in the overall development of Buddhism? Falling down? Through the combing,analysis and research of relevant historical materials,it can be clearly understood that under the unique Chongwen Shangfo tradition of Suzhou society,the local community,especially the Buddhist faith group represented by the scholar group,formed the Hanshan Temple.A relatively stable and friendly relationship.Under the support of their support and the monks of the monasteries,the Hanshan Temple in the Ming and Qing Dynasties passed through one development dilemma.In the same way,during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the Hanshan Temple and the Suzhou scholars had a relationship between the Buddha and the Buddha,and the Buddha's literary and artistic content greatly enriched the ideological and cultural connotation of Hanshan Temple.Correspondingly,this also inherits and develops the cultural tradition of Chongwen Shangfo in Suzhou society to a certain extent.The Buddhist culture of the temple,represented by Hanshan and Zhende,has been recognized and pushed by the rulers of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and the development of Hanshan Temple has reached an unprecedented peak.Through the above analysis,readers can be provided with a new perspective to gain an in-depth understanding of the friendly relationship between Hanshan Temple and Suzhou society in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
