Analysis Of The Musical Characteristics And Singing Skills Of Xiangxi Folk Songs

Western Hunan is located in the western part of Hunan Province,at the junction of Hunan,Guizhou,Hubei and Chongqing provinces.It is a minority inhabited area.It integrates Miao,Tu,Dong,Bai and Han nationalities,among which Tujia and Miao are the main ethnic groups in Western Hunan.Xiangxi people's life and singing are integrated,where there is life,there is singing,which is the most true portrayal of the life of Xiangxi people.In addition,there are abundant folk songs resources in Western Hunan,which have a long history,rich and colorful,unique charming singing art,rich and changeable language features and gorgeous forms and contents,making the folk songs of Western Hunan a beautiful scenery line in Chinese folk songs culture.Based on the exploration and study of Xiangxi folk songs,and combined with the author's experience and perception of learning vocal music for many years,this paper applies the scientific singing skills taught by the tutor to the original Xiangxi folk songs,so that the national and scientific nature of Xiangxi folk songs can be combined.This is also an attempt and exploration of the author on the way of learning vocal music.In this concert,the author starts from three aspects of music style,expression form and singing content,and chooses six representative folk songs of Western Hunan,namely "Bang Bang on the Rock Plate","Di Style","Playing Play Play Play Play Chant","You Wish I Will Be a Hundred Years","Masang Shuer Lighting Play","Wugu Fengdeng Granary Man Canopy",to elaborate their musical characteristics and their singing skills.Make specific analysis skillfully.
